Laser Stretch Marks Information & Resources at Crazy4Health

The new high-tech lasers that not long ago was nothing but science fiction are now being used to improve our looks. Evidently, the innovators of the beauty industry have decided to incorporate laser light to laser stretch marks right off of a person’s body. This is like a dream come true for anyone with stretch marks.

Most people do experience stretching of the skin that leaves scars at one time or another. The occurrence usually happens during puberty. These are usually striae rubra, which are red. The adolescent stretch marks usually fade over time so it makes no sense to laser stretch marks in these cases unless there is significant scaring that will not go away.

Since the reason for adolescent striae rubra is growth, it is reasonable to believe that the continuation of the imprints will not reappear when the individual reaches adulthood. Some imprints do continue as the person reaches maturity and beyond for several reasons. In these cases it may be a good idea to laser stretch marks to minimize the appearance of them.

These unsightly stretch marks can also be an unfortunate side effect of obesity. When the skin is stretched, it tears. People who gain a massive amount of weight will probably see some imprints, whether red or white. Either way, they are unwelcome. However, this population may not laser stretch marks unless their weight is stabilized because of the possibility of reoccurrence.

Ironically, the individuals who suffer from obesity will often experience significant markings on their skin when they lose weight. Rapid weight loss is also attributed to this kind of scarring of the tissue. It would be best to laser stretch marks after reaching a weight loss goal. If you continue to lose weight after the treatment, you may have to make some return visits.

Pregnancy is a very common cause for stretch marks. The rapid growth in the abdomen area really puts a strain on the skin leaving signs of the strain behind. There is also a hormonal component to the skin problem. Some women will get the marks if they gain very little weight during the nine months of carrying their child. These imprints often fade but some women laser stretch marks after pregnancy if they have not been minimized naturally.

The benefit of choosing to laser stretch marks is the process will help your body restore collagen that has been lost in the skin. The collagen fills depressed scars and creates a smooth surface. Even though it seems out of a sci-fi story, many people will choose to laser stretch marks because it restores a basic, natural element in our bodies.
